Google is very hopeful about its productive artificial intelligence, Bard. The technology giant is now suing some malicious people who use Bard’s name to direct people to download malicious software or try to take payments from people.
Google first sued three people thought to be in Vietnam. These people are sharing a file that they claim is the latest version of Bard. Unsuspecting victims download files containing this malware. Malware captures various information of people, including their social media account login information.
Scammers use social media platforms.
Among the crimes alleged to have been committed by people who were not identified in the court application, is downloading a file that they claimed was the latest version of Google Bard. It is also stated that the defendants have no connection with Google, and they use the Google logo, brand and products. Another striking point in the file was the use of Facebook ads to spread malware.
Similar attacks have also been reported in crypto scams. People who do not have enough knowledge about new technologies are often the target of such attacks. For example, although these attackers say that Bard is a downloadable and paid application, Bard is a tool that can be used free of charge through the internet browser.
According to Google’s blog post, there have been around 300 retraction requests so far targeting scammers. On the other hand, Google is also trying to prevent the creation of new malicious content domains. According to the statement from the company, lawsuits provide a great advantage in creating a legal protection circle and enabling malicious people to face the consequences of their moves.
