Left 4 Dead was a game that became popular when it came out and quickly got its second game. After the first game of the series was released in 2008, the second game was released very quickly in 2009. But even though many people have been waiting with curiosity and longing since then, the third game of the series has not been released.
If we are not the only ones bothered by this situation, the developer company of the series has released a spiritual sequel for Left 4 Dead under the name Back 4 Blood. The game smelled of Left 4 Dead as much as possible, and everyone agreed that it was a truly spiritual sequel. We have listed what you need to know about this newly released spiritual game before you start.

- Play mainly online

- Melee weapons work better than you think
Do not start the game on Veteran difficulty
You may want to start the game on Veteran as it looks like a normal difficulty. In fact, as a longtime Left 4 Dead player, you can be confident and not think twice about the difficulty level. But surprisingly, Veteran difficulty is a harder level than you might imagine. If you’re playing your first game, we highly recommend the Recruit level.
Play mainly online
Back 4 Blood is a multiplayer game. Although you can play alone, most of the progression rewards are unlocked during online play. Playing alone is a bit pointless as you cannot unlock the level of upgrades like Supply Points while playing alone.
Travel with your team
As anyone who’s played Left 4 Dead already knows, staying away from or abandoning your teammates is a quick way to die. The further you are away from your team, the easier it is for special zombies to corner you. You never know when you’ll need a quick revival, so don’t leave your team too much.
Avoid traps that will trigger hordes of zombies
Another issue that Back 4 Blood warns you about, but is not very successful in transferring, is that you can trigger swarms of zombies. This accidental triggering is most commonly done by opening the wrong door, knocking down a car, or accidentally frightening a flock of birds. So avoid doors with red alert stickers, watch where you walk, and check where you shoot to make sure you don’t accidentally hit a car or a flock of birds.
Make sure someone always carries a “Toolkit”
While not the most attractive item at first glance, the toolbox is one of the most vital pieces of equipment you can bring with you. At the start of the tour, make sure someone on your team has a toolkit. Once you have a toolkit, you can use it to bypass alarm doors or unlock other rooms with good loot behind them.
Consistently use the Copper Scavenger card
One of the most important things you need to collect while playing Back 4 Blood is copper coins. It is very important to collect as copper coins are used for upgrades, but due to the fast nature of the game it can be difficult to find copper. That’s why the Copper Scavenger card comes to your aid, showing you more copper and the location of the coppers throughout the map.
Don’t forget to buy team upgrades
Buying team upgrades is perhaps one of the best ways to spend your copper. These upgrades can add extra grenades to you and your team’s inventory or increase your team’s overall stamina. These upgrades are a great way to make your team stronger and will become more vital as you progress through the story.
Don’t forget to use markups
The ping button is a fairly underused mechanic, but it’s essential for your teammates. Ping weapons will not only let your teammates know where you are, but will also share their quality. So if you find a high quality sniper rifle just ping it will let everyone know where to find a great gun.
Arrange your deck of cards in a specific order
Another gameplay element that Back 4 Blood doesn’t explain well is deck building. An important detail to know about creating a deck is that the cards appear in the order you choose. So, if you like the Run and Gun card, you’ll want it to be the first card in your deck. Then comes the card you usually want to use next, and so on. So make sure you plan well
Melee weapons work better than you think
Melee weapons can be easy to ignore, especially if there’s a brand new weapon glowing next to it. But the thing is, these melee weapons can often be much more effective at killing than a pistol.
