A few days ago, Google introduced Google Assistant with Bard, supported by artificial intelligence. The new Google Assistant is powered by Bard, the company’s productive artificial intelligence software that rivals ChatGPT and Bing. The new digital assistant will be able to search for data on the internet as well as your Google account to provide relevant answers to your questions, produce images, plan travel and much more. But it looks like Google Assistant with Bard will be limited to Pixel and Samsung smartphones initially.

Bad news for those waiting for Google Assistant with Bard

A new report reveals that Google Assistant with Bard may be limited to Pixel smartphones with Tensor processors and Samsung’s Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series devices. Some evidence was found in version 14.41 of the beta version of the Google app that Galaxy S23, Galaxy S24, Pixel 6, Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 series devices may be among the first to get the new AI-powered digital voice assistant.

According to what is already known, the new Google Assistant will first come to Pixel 8 and other lower models with Tensor processors. Then, it’s quite likely to come to the Galaxy S24 early next year, and later to the Galaxy S23. Other devices will have to wait a little longer. Google stated last week that Bard-supported Google Assistant would be available to certain test users soon. What’s more, this will be an opt-in experience, meaning you’ll have to join to test the feature. There will be wider use early next year. The Galaxy S24 series will also be released in similar time periods.
