Intel confirms all 14th Generation desktop processors
As we mentioned above, the most important upgrade in Raptor Lake Refresh processors will be support for higher core count, higher clock speeds and faster DDR5 memory (potentially 6400 MT/s). Therefore, the new CPUs will continue to use the Intel 7 processing node and will be compatible with existing LGA 1700/1800 motherboards.
It’s worth noting that only one CPU is missing here, and that’s the KS “Special Edition” version of the Core i9-14900KS. However, this model is not expected to be released until early 2024. Niketim Intel will have to wait a while longer for higher clock speeds.
Release date of Raptor Lake Refresh processors
According to reports, Intel will launch its 14th Generation processors on October 17. So exactly one week from today. On this date, processors will be available for purchase and reviews will also be published. The day before, on October 16, Intel will lift its ‘advertising’ embargo.
