“I think it’s great to have an iPhone every year for those who want it. What we do is we allow people to come in and replace their phones. We will resell that phone if it still works. “And if it doesn’t work, we find ways to take it apart and get the materials needed to make a new iPhone.”
Of course, there are other reasons behind Apple releasing new models every year that Cook did not mention. The main reason, simply put, as we can all guess, is to make money. “I think it will be carbon neutral. Frankly, I think it will be much more advanced than it is now, but I do not want to give away all our secrets to you. “Just from an environmental perspective, I can say it will be carbon neutral.”
