Nvidia’s artificial intelligence event canceled
Nvidia AI Summit was very important for the company because both Huang and officials were expected to talk about their significant investments in artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, especially through graphics technologies, within the scope of the event. It was thought that the company would also give signals about its future plans here.
However, in light of the Palestinian-Israeli war that broke out again after the Hamas attack, Nvidia made the difficult decision to cancel this event. While the main reason for this cancellation was to ensure the safety of the participants, Nvidia did not make any statement about when the event would be held. Similarly, it is unclear whether the event will be alternatively recorded or broadcast live.
More than 2,500 developers, researchers and decision-makers from one of the world’s most dynamic technology hubs were expected to attend the two-day summit on October 15 and 16. Nvidia chose Israel for the event, which has a thriving startup ecosystem with more than 6,000 startups, many of which focus on artificial intelligence.
