Threads, the microblogging platform launched by social media giant Meta a few months ago, is doing its best to resemble Twitter, which we now call X. In this context; The latest news about Threads reveals that the platform will soon fix another important deficiency. According to a statement made by a Meta employee, Threads will soon have a feature called “Agenda” or “Topics”.
Although Meta has not made an official statement about the future of the Topics feature, a Meta employee shared a post about how this feature will work. This post was removed after a short time, but this time independent developer Willian Max managed to get a screenshot of the upcoming feature. Threads’ Topics feature will be broadly the same as X’s.
This is what Threads’ new feature will look like:
Threads’ Topics feature will contain information such as topic titles and how many posts have been made on the topic. The user who touches the topic title will be able to view the relevant posts. The Topics feature will be available on the Search page instead of a new tab in the application. Threads’ new feature is an exact copy of X.
No information was shared about when Threads’ Topics feature will be available. However, the leaked screenshot reveals that everything is ready for the feature. Threads users will have access to this feature very soon.
