Some of the new features mentioned at the SDC23 event include the renewed Quick Panel, the new custom font One UI Sans that improves readability, and new artificial intelligence-supported photo editing tools Photo Remaster and Object Eraser. One UI 6 also brings the new Samsung Studio feature that allows users to make multi-layered video edits.

Samsung has not announced when One UI 6.0 will be released, but the Galaxy S23 series will likely be the first to receive the update after the beta program ends. Dozens of Galaxy phones and tablets will receive the Android 14 One UI 6.0 update, including most foldable phones, Galaxy A, M and F devices, Galaxy Tab S8 and newer tablet models.
