Both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro use Google’s latest Tensor G3 processor. The chip brings a host of new features with Google’s latest AI machine learning capability. Both phones will receive 7 years of Android operating system and security updates. This is a big improvement over the last Pixel models, which received at most 3 years of software updates and 5 years of security updates.Pixel 8 has a 6.2-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is a little smaller compared to Pixel 7, but it will definitely offer a much smoother experience. The screen provides 2000 nits of brightness. While the Pixel 8 retains the Pixel 7’s 50MP primary camera and 12MP ultra-wide camera features, it has a macro focusing mode that is exclusive to the Pixel 7 Pro. This mode allows you to take detailed and clear close-up photos. The phone is powered by a 4485 mAh battery that supports 24w wired and 18w wireless charging. Front camera 10.5 megapixels.
Drawing attention with its new matte glass back, the Pixel 8 Pro model has a 6.7-inch screen with a refresh rate that dynamically adjusts the screen resolution (1-120Hz) for improved performance and efficiency. The screen provides a maximum brightness of 2400 nits. The Pixel 8 Pro has the 50MP main camera on the Pixel 7 Pro, a 48MP telephoto (5x optical zoom) camera, but the ultra-wide lens has been upgraded to 48MP.
