All features of 14th Generation Intel processors confirmed
For those who don’t know, Intel Raptor Lake Refresh will bring minor optimizations to existing 13th Generation Raptor Lake processors, exactly as its name suggests. Therefore, the new CPUs will continue to use the Intel 7 processing node and will be compatible with existing LGA 1700/1800 motherboards.
When we look at the shared promotional images, we see the details of the three processor models of Raptor Lake Refresh. These are Core i9-14900K, Core i7-14700K and Intel Core i5-14600K, respectively.
If we start from the flagship, the processor has 16 cores and 32 threads in an 8+16 configuration. This configuration is accompanied by a clock speed of up to 6.0 GHz, up to 36 MB cache and a TDP of 125W (253W PL2). Therefore, we can say that there will be a +200 MHz frequency jump compared to the Core i9-13900K.
Finally, the mid-level solution of the Raptor Lake Refresh processors, Core i5-14600K, will have a 2.6GHz base clock speed, 6 + 8 cores and 24MB cache, similar to its predecessor. The upcoming Intel Raptor Lake Refresh and Meteor Lake processors are expected to be introduced on October 17. Therefore, we think that more details will be shared in the coming days.
