Tesla’s car-sharing feature has been in the works for several years. The car sharing feature, which started to be developed rapidly after the regular production of Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, continues to be improved.

Vehicle Access Feature Can Be Updated
According to Tesla’s statement, its feature called ‘Car Access’, which makes it easy for Tesla owners to share their vehicles, allows adding and removing access permissions for an additional driver. Any driver added to the account can actively use all the features available in the Tesla app, such as “locking and unlocking the vehicle”, except for roadside assistance or purchasing various Tesla upgrades. The Twitter account “Tesla_App_iOS”, which announced its new software by following the updates in Tesla’s Smartphone application, led to the emergence of rumors that more car sharing features could be added to the application.
