To access this beta version of WhatsApp, you need to sign up for the beta program at TestFlight and download the beta version to your iPad from there. Then, you log in using the standard method by connecting a device and scanning the QR code on the screen.
This also means that all messages sent to and from the iPad will be fully synced with existing signed-in devices such as Windows, Mac, iPhone or Android phones. However, there is currently no reported date for the iPad app to be released on the public App Store.
The first hints of tablet compatibility came in 2022, when it began testing more multi-device support, and it continues to drive greater use of the platform by starting testing multi-account support on Android this month.
Currently, the tablet version of the app is limited to the iOS beta version, and an Android tablet compatible version has not yet emerged. Possibly both may be in development side by side.
