Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin transferred ETH worth approximately half a million dollars to the Kraken exchange. This move by Buterin led to speculation in these days when Ethereum is on the rise.
Vitalik Buterin made a significant transfer of 300 ETH worth $490 thousand to the popular cryptocurrency exchange Kraken. The transaction consisted of two tranches in which 100 ETH and 200 ETH were transferred separately. Remarkably, it was noted that even after this transfer, Buterin still had 2,451 ETH in his “0x1Db” wallet. This amounts to a staggering $4.04 million.

The transfer in question was recorded as one of the largest direct transfers made from Buterin’s wallet to an exchange in recent years.
On the other hand, the timing of the transfer has led to speculation, as such transfers to exchanges are perceived as potential sales events, especially by Buterin himself. It was noteworthy that Ethereum’s price showed positive momentum and was traded in the green zone.
Some users wondered whether Buterin’s decision to move a significant amount of ETH to an exchange would signal a local top in the Ethereum price. For now, all eyes are on the Ethereum price chart to see if it will react to this event.
