The countdown has begun for the Redmi K70 series, which Xiaomi is preparing to introduce to users in the coming months. The series, which is expected to include three models: K70, K70 Pro and K70e, will debut without any important features, according to a recent report.
There will be no wireless charging feature in the Redmi K70 series
Digital Chat Station, known for its leaks in the industry, claimed that the upcoming Redmi K70 series will not have wireless charging feature. As it is known, while 30W wireless charging support is available in the current K60 Pro, this feature is not included in the standard model.
If the leaker’s report reflects the truth, contrary to expectations, the feature in question will not be included in any phone of the series. Apart from this, the Redmi K70 Pro model appeared in the Geekbench database last month. The smartphone managed to get 1,882 points in single-core tests and 4,536 points in multi-core tests.
Prototypes of the standard and Pro models of the series were revealed recently. Accordingly, the devices will have narrow frames and support 2K screen resolution. Apart from this, the Pro will feature a 50 Megapixel telephoto lens that offers 3.2x optical zoom. Finally, the smartphones are expected to come out of the box with MIUI 14 based on Android 14 and later receive MIUI 15. The launch date of the models is not known yet.
