The Top 24 Male and Female Player Rankings for EA Sports FC 24 have been announced. According to this ranking, Cristiano Ronaldo is no longer in the top 24!
Kylian Mbappé rose to the top spot this year after sitting third in the FIFA 23 rankings. Along with Mbappé, Alexia Putellas, Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne also have 91 ratings.
This also means that Lionel Messi has fallen out of the top five, as noted by ESPN. Messi, who ranked fifth last year, fell to sixth place this year with 90 points, just below Aitana Bonmatí (90 points). Other players with the same rating are Sam Kerr, Karim Benzema, Thibaut Courtois, Harry Kane, Caroline Graham Hansen and Robert Lewandowski.
The rest of the top 24 were awarded 89 points. These are respectively: Mohamed Salah, Kadidiatou Diani, Mapi León, Rúben Dias, Vini Jr, Rodri, Neymar Jr, Alex Morgan, Marc-André ter Stegen, Virgil van Dijk, Alisson Ramses Becker and Ada Hegerberg.
Ronaldo’s drop here is quite significant considering he is in eighth place in the FIFA 23 rankings. The 38-year-old player, who signed a contract to play for Al Nassr until 2025 at the end of 2022, was recently removed from the 2023 Ballon d’Or list.
EA Sports FC 24 will be released on September 29 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
