Russian scientists made a very interesting discovery about humans. In the study conducted on people who had lucid dreams, it was determined that a song learned in real life could be played correctly in a dream. On the other hand; With this study, it was understood that a song played during a dream can be transferred to real life. Let’s take a closer look at this interesting study.
In the study conducted with 4 people who knew that they were in a dream while they were dreaming, the individuals were first taught how to play Queen’s song We Will Rock You. The subjects then had lucid dreams in which they played We Will Rock You. Three of the participants were able to successfully repeat the melodies they learned in real life during their sleep.
Study focused on moving arms during sleep
Within the scope of the research, scientists focused on muscle movements, not brain activity during sleep. In this context; The movements of the subjects, who had electromyography sensors placed on their arms, were monitored in a computer environment. The software, implemented just for this study, compared muscle movements in real life with muscle movements during dreams. Although the subjects moved their arms very slightly in some cases, the results were not bad.
Lucid dreams are one of the topics that scientists have been working on for a long time. The research conducted in Russia is proof that things seen in dreams can somehow be transferred to real life. Conducting such research on a broader scale will enable us to understand the potential in this field.
