According to this decision, street lamps would turn on 15 minutes later and turn off 30 minutes earlier. So our streets would have been shrouded in darkness for an extra 45 minutes. This situation drew the reaction of citizens, especially those living in the west. Because the daylight saving time practice, which was made permanent, caused the citizens to wake up at night and hit the roads. . .
Now, there has been a new development regarding this important issue. The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources announced that it has taken a new decision on the subject. With this new decision, the 45-minute “blackout” practice came to an end. In other words, the street lights will flash as before. Thus, another discussion came to an end. . .
