Starfield reached 6 million
According to Bethesda’s post, Starfield is currently played by more than 6 million players. This number includes Xbox Series X|S, PC, Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass and possibly cloud players. On the other hand, the other day, Xbox President Phil Spencer announced that Starfield had reached one million concurrent players.
However, this statement was made for the game’s launch on Wednesday, so next weekend’s rush will likely blow this figure upside down. We can say that there is a high probability that Starfield will reach 10 million players next week.
In addition, although the game was officially released on September 6, those who upgraded to the Premium version or the version on Game Pass have been playing Starfield since September 1. While official platform-specific figures haven’t been released yet, during this early access period alone, Starfield has seen over 230,000 concurrent players log in to the game on Steam. Even the Premium upgrade on Game Pass was the Xbox Store’s best-selling product at the time.
According to third-party data, Starfield may have sold more than two million premium versions/upgrades from fans who wanted to get in just five days early. Starfield is now available on Xbox Series X|S as well as PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. Xbox and PC Game Pass subscribers and Xbox Cloud Gaming users via Game Pass Ultimate can also access the game at no additional cost.
