Megan Fox plays Nitara, the character returning to Mortal Kombat 1 after 17 years
Megan Fox voices the vampire Nitara in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1. The developer of the game, NetherRealm Studios, shared a new trailer to introduce the newest fighter of the Mortal Kombat roster.
Nitara comes from the dark and desolate realm of Vaeternus and joins the battle to protect the vampire race in Mortal Kombat 1. He uses his claws, fangs and aerial abilities in fights. You can watch the new fighter in the trailer above.
Megan Fox says: “Nitara is some kind of vampire creature from a strange land. Bad but also good. He’s trying to save his people. I really liked it. He’s a vampire, and it’s obviously resonating for whatever reason. It’s great to be in the game. Because I’m not just voicing him, he’ll be like me.”
Fox also said that he grew up playing Mortal Kombat and couldn’t believe he was voicing a character in the new game. Mortal Kombat 1 will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 19 (September 14 for early access owners). What are you thinking?
