Ripple Labs president and co-founder Chris Larsen stated that the US legal system and the Biden administration have dragged crypto policy into a bad situation. Referring to their partial victory against the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in July, Larsen stated that the regulatory body failed to regulate Ripple and the industry.
“Crypto and blockchain policy has gotten messy!”
Arguing that the USA has a failed policy regarding the crypto industry and blockchain technology, the president and co-founder of Ripple Labs said the following about the recent events:
“The US has messed up crypto and blockchain policy here. This is a start to getting that clarity, unfortunately through the courts rather than the regulators, and getting us back in the game. This is not America’s way. “We should embrace the clear rules of legislatures, not Gary Gensler’s decision-making.”
