Interest in cryptocurrencies continues to increase rapidly around the world. Investment researcher Henley & Partners has shared a new report on the industry.
According to the Crypto Asset Report announced by the company, approximately 425 million people invest in Bitcoin and altcoins. If this figure is correct, about 5% of the world’s population has stepped into the cryptocurrency market.
Although cryptocurrencies do not occupy the mainstream agenda as much as before, they are still a preferred investment tool. Researchers have found that especially the new generation is interested in Bitcoin and altcoin units.
According to Henley & Partners’ report, some smart or lucky investors have changed their lives with the cryptocurrency market. There are 88,200 investors holding at least $1 million worth of crypto assets.
Crypto millionaires represent less than 1% of the total number of people. Henley Partners stated that the group in question invests more in Bitcoin than altcoin units. The number of people with more than $ 100 million in crypto assets was limited to only 182.
Crypto experts also shared governments and countries that have adopted a warm attitude to the industry. Singapore tops the list of crypto-friendly countries, with Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates second and third.
