With Android 14 just a short while away from being widely available, Google today announced a major change to its operating system. The technology giant shared the renewed version of Android’s logo.
The company has given it a new look while applying improvements to the iconic green Android logo. In addition, the 3D version of the robot, which was engraved in the minds of everyone in the logo, was also shared.
Here is the new Android logo:
In its blog post, Google stated that the new logo, which gained a three-dimensional appearance, was designed to “look dynamically like Android itself.” It was also reported that the robot in the renewed logo was made to look better in both digital and real-world environments.
The technology giant says that with the new logo, Android can now be represented only by a capital “A”, moving away from the lowercase “android” name. In this way, he adds that a more balanced view will be obtained when it is side by side with the Google logo.
The revamped Android logo will start appearing on Android devices and elsewhere later this year.
Current version of Android logo
For a decade, Google has been implementing changes to its logos to make the Android brand more modern. Finally, in 2019, a change was made and the logo was given a simpler look.
