Apple has announced the date of the highly anticipated iPhone 15 launch event. The event, called “Wonderlust,” will be held on September 12 at the Steve Jobs Theater at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.
Like last year, a hybrid approach will be followed at this Apple event; that is, it will be both face-to-face and broadcast online. As expected, the iPhone 15, which is expected to come in four sizes, will be featured at this Apple event.
It is said that Apple will add the Dynamic Island cutout to all iPhone 15 models. While the regular models will feature the A16 Bionic chip and 48MP camera sensor, the Pro versions are expected to come with the A17 Bionic chip, ultra-thin bezels, a periscope lens for the Pro Max, and an increase in battery size. Apple also plans to convert the Lightning port to USB-C and the mute button to an Action Button.
In addition to the iPhone 15, Apple Watch Series 9 is also expected to be introduced at the Apple event. It is speculated that Apple will use a new S9 processor to make this device faster. We can expect 41mm and 45mm aluminum and stainless steel options.
The second generation Apple Watch Ultra may also be introduced at the event; but the probability of that doesn’t seem that high.
