Steam most recently broke a player record, reaching 26 million concurrent players in April. Now, the data shared by SteamDB shows that a new record has been broken with 27 million. CS: GO, Dota 2 and PUBG lead the most played productions within Steam.
While Steam broke its own record, there were 7.8 million players in the game at that moment. This was below the record set by 8.1 million as of March 2020. However, when we look at the numbers, we see that there is still a significant audience playing CS: GO.

CS: GO reached the highest number of players on Steam with 915,791. Dota 2 followed it with 677,744 players, while PUBG had 344,841 players. On the Halo Infinite side, we see that a bone mass has formed yet in the beta stage. Because it has reached an important level such as 146.212 players.

Pandemic has increased player numbers significantly
