OnePlus, which will introduce its first foldable smartphone called OnePlus Open this year, will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset developed by Qualcomm in its first foldable phone model. According to the leaks, the device, which will also offer 16 GB of RAM with this processor, will have 256 GB of internal storage.
Coming to the screen, which is the main part, the device comes with two screens, since it is a foldable model. OnePlus Open, which will use a 6.3-inch AMOLED panel on the front, offers a 120Hz refresh rate on this screen. On the inside, Open, which has a 7.8-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution, offers larger screens than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 on both sides. Open, which will get its electrical power from its 4800mAh battery, will come with 67W fast charging support.
If we have to compare the OnePlus Open with its Samsung competitor, the Z Fold 5, the leaks show that OnePlus’ foldable phone is superior in all areas. Although both models use the same processor, the OnePlus Open’s 16GB RAM memory, large screens and large battery make the difference.
