Apple stepped up its work on the developer version of iOS 17. The company, which tested iOS 17 with beta versions before the launch in September, shared another update in the past hours. With the iOS 17 Beta 7 package, the “End Search” button has been replaced once again.
iOS 17 Beta 7 features and bugs fixed
Apple has released the seventh beta version of iOS 17. For iOS 17 users enrolled in the Developer Beta, the new bundle is a relatively minor update. But it’s implementing a critical design change to its beta software.
The biggest innovation of iOS 17 Beta 7 seems to be that the keypad design has changed during the call. Apple changed its controversial position in the previous beta by moving the “End Call” button to the bottom center of the keypad.
The new beta also fixes the mute switch bug that was accidentally disabled in the previous version. Beta 7 brings back the haptic feedback of the mute switch.
It should be noted that Beta 7 has fixed previous complaints with these changes. It should be noted that it does not contain a different feature beyond the change in the search screen.
iOS 17 is expected to be announced in September and released by the end of the year. As the public release time approaches, it is likely that there will be fewer updates in beta versions.
Various features were added to iMessage and FaceTime in previous beta packages. But Apple’s focus now seems to be bug fixes.
