Instagram boss Adam Mosseri announced their update to Threads this week. Threads previously showed posts from people they followed and filtered reposts. This has changed in the new version. Additionally, a new tab has been added for the profile that will make it easier for users to find posts they have reposted.Reposts will also be shown in the followed feed
With the update, Threads also started showing reposts on the main stream, like Twitter (X). This means users will see posts from people they never follow on their homepage. As a second change, users can now see their own reposts from the private tab on their profile.
Threads web version is coming
According to Mosseri’s explanation, the new features are the ones added based on feedback from users. Threads has been consistently gaining new weekly features since it went public in July. Threads web application is expected to arrive in the near future along with the advanced search feature.
