A few days ago, the internet was awash with an important change that iOS 17 will make to the user interface. In a beta version, the iPhone’s End Call button was moved to the right of the second row of buttons on the iOS 17 call screen.

iOS 17’s call end button was to the right of the bottom row in earlier versions.

The good news is that Apple seems to have heard the voices of users. While there is no change for the two-row buttons, it seems that in iOS 17 beta 6 the call end button is placed in the middle of the bottom row. In other words, the end call button has been replaced by the keyboard button.

In iOS 17, the call end button was again centered in the latest beta.

This simple change is positive in that your muscle memory will centered on the End Call button when ending a call. In addition, it seems that the only button in red among the 6 buttons will be the call end button. So the two-row button layout won’t require you to change your usage habits that much.
