Vivo, one of the successful players in the smartphone industry, continues to work to expand its product range. The Chinese manufacturer showcased the V29 5G earlier this month, and recently unveiled the device for Europe. In this context, an update was promised to users related to the phone.
Two major Android and three-year security patches promise for Vivo V29
Vivo’s product manager, Daniel Goetz, stated during the promotion that the Vivo V29 5G will receive two major Android updates and three years of security patches. As you may remember, the smartphone came out of the box with Android 13-based FunTouch OS 13. Considering the company’s promise, we can say that the device will also receive Android 14 and 15 patches.
Coming with a 6.78-inch 1260 x 2800 pixel resolution 55-degree curved AMOLED panel, the Vivo V29 5G model offers a 120 Hz refresh rate. Other than that, it should be noted that it is 7.46 mm thick and weighs 186 g.
