The Google Chrome browser and Google Searches app now offer an option to summarize long articles. When opened, Google highlights the content as well as showing the “Explore the page” section with questions and answers taken from the content.

Google says that with its new surfing productive search experience (SGE) feature, people will find it easier to understand content creators’ long-form articles. Only, Google will pull out the highlights for articles that can be read for free on the internet. This feature will not work for articles that require a subscription.
The new AI-powered feature is currently available in the Chrome browser for iOS and Android. Google plans to offer it on desktop in the coming days.
