Intel, which wants to be the leader in the processor market again, has completed its work for the Raptor Lake Refresh family. A Chinese analyst conducted a performance test by taking a pre-production sample of the Intel Core i7 14700K. Here are the details…
Intel Core i7 14700K will be ambitious about performance
Intel’s upcoming Core i7-14700K processor combines eight high-performance Raptor Cove cores running at 3.40 GHz to 5.60 GHz and 12 energy-efficient Gracemont cores, four more than the Core i7-13700K. will bring. The new model managed to outperform the i7 13900K flagship processor.
The new Core i7 “Raptor Lake” refresh will come with improvements for both clock speed and multi-threaded processes. However, it should be noted that the new processor will have higher power consumption.
The Core i7-14700K, which the analyst named ‘Core i7-13700KS’ to avoid problems with Intel, came up with an increase of about 20 percent in the CPU-Z multi-threaded test. It should be noted that the processor increased by about 14 percent in the Cinebench R23 multi-threaded test.
Although the reviewer does not compare the Core i7-14700K with the current flagship Core i9-13900K, both processors have the same core configuration and very close frequencies. Therefore, the performance of the new Core i7-14700K will be very close to the Core i9-13900K.
