Intel, the most powerful name in the desktop processor world, is preparing to announce the 14th generation Raptor Lake Refresh family, which it has been working on for a long time. Now, new details and new visuals about the Intel Core i5-14600K, whose final touches have been made, have surfaced.
Intel Core i5-14600K has 14 cores and 5.3 GHz boost speed
Images shared by HXL (@9550pro) revealed some details about the device. Judging by the images, the Core i5-14600K will be clocked at 5.3 GHz, a significant upgrade over its predecessor. On the other hand, the source also shared Geekbench scores. Accordingly, the processor scored 2794 points in single-core tests and 17,190 points in multi-core tests.
It was recently leaked that the 14th Gen Core i7 series, for example the i7-14700K, will come with 20 cores with the 8P+12E core configuration. According to the information that has emerged now, the Intel Core i5-14600K will come with 16 cores in the 8P+8E arrangement, including 8 “Raptor Cove” performance cores and 8 “Gracemont” efficiency cores.
It turned out that thanks to the latest software version of AIDA64, which has not yet been able to make a clear distinction about certain models in the leaks about the new Intel desktop processors, it can identify the upcoming Raptor Lake refresh, Intel Core i3/i5/i7 and i9 processors.
In other words, it will be able to show whether the chips used are the 13th generation or the updated 14th generation. Some leaks also say that Intel plans to launch its 14th-generation Core desktop processors in October and will be announced at its innovation event a month ago.
