A video showing the LK-99 was faked
For the LK-99, more questions than answers remain on the agenda for now. The Korean author, who owns the video circulating the Internet that apparently showcases the LK-99’s ability to levitate, admitted it was a hoax and was intended to attract attention. You can watch the video on the X (formerly Twitter) post right below.
The video in question allegedly belongs to the University of Science and Technology in Beijing and shows a small black substance floating in the air by following a magnet. It should be noted, however, that at least two more LK-99 levitation videos are in circulation that have not been withdrawn or refuted. As we reported earlier, these videos come from Huazong and Wuhan universities.
Doubts remain for the LK-99
Currently, the scientific community is trying to examine the original article claiming the existence of LK-99 and to obtain concrete results by repeating the processes. Let’s not forget that the Korean author’s article is still awaiting the result of an appropriate peer-review process. However, the lack of important information in this original article of the LK-99 also raises doubts.
