According to the news that 9to5Mac has based on sources close to the company’s plans, Apple will introduce the iPhone 15 series phones at a special event on September 13. The tech giant usually holds its iPhone launch event on a Tuesday or Wednesday in mid-September. The new news claims that operators told their employees not to take leave on September 13 due to an “important smartphone announcement”. Apple has not officially confirmed this date.

If Apple follows its usual schedule, pre-orders for the iPhone 15 series will likely start on September 15, with retail launching on September 22. Last year, the iPhone 14 went on pre-order on September 9 and hit stores on September 16.

Whether the date is correct or not; It is considered certain that Apple will organize the event in September. At this event, the company is expected to announce four new iPhone 15 models, namely the 6.1-inch iPhone 15, 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus, 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Pro Max.

While Apple has managed to avoid major launch delays in recent years, some iPhone 15 models may see their retail date later than usual due to supply chain issues and manufacturing challenges reported this year. Analysts still can’t say for sure how much supply restrictions could affect the new iPhones.
