X, formerly Twitter, which has been in the process of being rebranded recently and therefore, has brought a brand new feature to its paid Blue subscribers. Announced today by Elon Musk, the innovation draws attention as it turns something users have wanted for many years into reality.
X Blue subscribers will now have the opportunity to download videos on the platform through the website. However, some conditions are needed to download videos.

The first requirement is to be a verified user, as we said before. The second is that the owner of the video to be downloaded allows the download. So if the person sharing the video does not give permission, users will not be able to download it.
Musk also explained how to use the feature. Accordingly, in order to download, the video you open on the website must be in full screen mode. Afterwards, the video can be downloaded by clicking the “…” three-dot icon in the upper right. The billionaire businessman says that it will soon make it easier to download on mobile, and the function can be realized by simply pressing and holding the content.
The feature to download videos was one of the most requested features by the users. Previously, this required third-party apps. Of course, this is still valid for users who are not paid subscribers.
Blue continues to bring new features for its subscribers. The platform had previously offered many innovations to paid users, from sharing 3-hour videos to tweeting 25 thousand characters (no more posts).
