From December 21 to June 8, the Minnesota man deposited massive amounts of $9.2 million over 21 transactions into the crypto scam platform “Coinrule-web3”. However, the funds were not being invested in cryptocurrency on his behalf as he thought. Instead, the funds were transferred to bank accounts and then to wallets controlled only by the LinkedIn scammer, who then deposited the funds for them.
Fake snow signs, on the other hand, led the man to believe he had made the right decision, causing him to not suspect any fraud during this time. This woman, who slowly began to seduce the man she had deceived, also convinced him to divorce his wife after a while.
When he wanted to withdraw the money, the truth came out.
Convinced of divorcing his wife, the man sent the savings he and his wife had accumulated over the years to the swindler without informing him. The truth came out when the husband, panicked by the complaint of his wife, who said that her husband had emptied his savings accounts in the last 6 months, wanted to withdraw all his wife.
The woman on LinkedIn said she had to pay the man a $2.8 million fee to get their refund. Without this payment, the scammer disappeared.
