Twitter (with its new name X), bought by Elon Musk in September 2022, returned to the test board and had many new features. One of these features was the Blue subscription, which can be obtained by paying a monthly or annual fee to Twitter, to which blue tick approval badges are linked.
The blue tick application, which was given to well-known people free of charge with Twitter Blue, was a thing of the past, and these badges were only given to Blue subscribers. Twitter has made a change in this situation with a new update.
Twitter Blue subscribers will be able to hide their blue tick badge:
Users who subscribe to Twitter Blue but don’t want to show their blue tick badges now have a solution for that. Users now have an option to hide their blue tick badge on the profile customization page.
Those who want to hide the blue tick can make their wishes come true by activating the “Hide blue tick” option.
The name of Tweetdeck, which was made only for Blue subscribers, has also changed:
The last victim in Elon Musk’s process of transforming Twitter into X was Tweetdeck. The new name of the platform, which was recently made only for Blue subscribers, was changed to “XPro”.
