Assassin’s Creed’s new game Mirage, which has been on the market for a year and will be released at the end of next fall, will bring us together with the story of the young assassin Basim from Baghdad. When the game was first announced, the developers said that the game would carry the spirit of old AC games, but because it was originally developed as a Valhalla DLC, it would be a transition game length, not a main game.
They stand behind their words. Fabian Salomon, one of the executive producers of Ubisoft, said in a statement that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will last 25-30 hours. Sounds long actually doesn’t it? That’s not exactly the case.
Mirage lasts 25-30 hours if you’re a “completer” so you have to do every side quest and event
If you are not a complement, the game takes an average of 20 hours. When we go back about 10 years, this was a normal time for this kind of story games. However, with Assassin’s Creed Origins, as you know, the series has turned into more of an RPG and its “supplementary” times have reached 140 hours (Valhalla).
Therefore, such a period may seem short after them. However, it is a fact that not all of the 120 hours of game time satisfy the players. Spending 20 full hours instead of being idle for 120 hours is a feature that many players look for in new games.
Although Assassin’s Creed Mirage is considered as an intermediate game by Ubisoft, it is a game that fans of the series are eagerly waiting for, both in terms of returning to the roots of the series and in terms of gameplay.
