Now, while Sony is making plans to make the PlayStation 5 model much more efficient with a new update, it will also overhaul the cooler system. According to the latest information, Sony will switch to a 5 nm processor for more efficiency and less heating in the renewed version.
Along with the processor with the 5 nm production technology of the Japanese manufacturer, it is preparing to leave the liquid metal paste system behind. This processor, which is much more efficient, will also stand out with much less heating. In this way, there will be no need for the liquid metal paste cooling system Sony uses in PS5 systems.
While leaving the thermal paste behind Sony’s renewed PS5 model, it is expected to take a hand in the cooling system. Although this information is not yet fully confirmed, we may see a completely different cooling system in the new PlayStation 5 model, which is expected to be released next year.
While Sony is working on a new version for PlayStation 5, it also aims to melt existing stocks. The company plans to finish the stocks of the CFI-1202 version, especially with discounts in some countries. In 2024, we expect the PS5 to be before us with the CFI-1300 version.
