US-based technology giant Google continues to work on a new project that will break new ground in the artificial intelligence industry. A new artificial intelligence model called “Brain2Music” is used to analyze people’s brain waves and create music as a result. Let’s take a closer look at this interesting technology together.

Both Google and Meta have built artificial intelligence models in the past to generate music from text. In this context; Google’s artificial intelligence tool called MusicLM has already managed to impress users. Brain2Music is the kind that will make us forget everything we know. The technology, which is still in the research phase, will take the artificial intelligence experience to a completely different point when it is put into use.

So how exactly does Brain2Music work?

Google engineers took 15-second samples of music from almost every music category, from jazz to metal, hip-hop to classical. Analyzing the waves in the human brain with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), the experts then established a connection between musical notes and brain waves. Developing this connection through machine learning, Google eventually created the artificial intelligence model called Brain2Music. By integrating this artificial intelligence model into MusicLM, the experts enabled the brain waves to be converted into music.
