Normally, many viewers have prejudices against live-action TV series and movies, which is quite justifiable. This prejudice first started with the Avatar: The Last Airbender disaster. But over the years, studios have evolved, technology has improved, and so have live-action series.
This is also evident in the official trailer for One Piece’s live-action series. The producers did a great job staying true to the original story, choosing a good cast and blending it with great visual effects and cinematography.

The series, whose broadcast date is set for August 31, is an adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s popular manga series of the same name. The story follows a boy named Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), who can stretch his body like rubber, on a journey with a group of friends called the Straw Hat Pirates in search of the treasure known as One Piece, which will make him the Pirate King.
The new trailer features fast-paced action sequences, upbeat humor, and countless fantasy events and dangerous encounters. Cast not featured in this trailer include Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
