The Canadian police department has issued a warning text about crypto thieves posing as delivery drivers to investors’ homes.
On July 19, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Richmond, a city south of Vancouver, said that heists involving crypto investors had increased in the past 12 months. RCMP did not disclose details about the events. He simply stated that the thief, in each case, pretended to be a delivery driver, stealing victims’ information that gave them access to their cryptocurrency accounts.
