The MySmartPrice website shared the technical specifications of the OnePlus 12R and published the render images of the smartphone. It looks like the device will come with the familiar round camera unit that houses three sensors and a flash.On the front of the OnePlus 12R, there will be a 6.7-inch slightly curved AMOLED display that offers 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. There will be a hole in the center of the panel used on the device, which hosts a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The smartphone is said to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This chipset will be accompanied by 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. There is currently no information about whether there will be other memory configurations.Camera side improvements
The OnePlus 12R will also offer improvements on the camera side with a combination of a 50-megapixel main camera, a 32-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. As you may recall, the OnePlus 11R came with a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
The battery in the new smartphone will have a capacity of 5,500 mAh (5,000 mAh on the 11R). The charging speed will remain unchanged at 100W. It is reported that the device will come out of the box with Oxygen OS 14 based on Android 14. Finally, it should be noted that January 2024 is spoken for the launch.
