VMware Fusion Tech Preview 2023 brings full hardware 3D acceleration for Windows 11 on ARM platforms. This means users can run DirectX 11 supported games and applications smoothly. 3D acceleration will enable not only applications and games developed for ARM to run, but also adapted 32-bit and 64-bit software.
The new version of VMWare Fusion also includes VMware Tools for Windows 11 virtual machines running on Macs with Apple Silicon processors. These tools enable the use of features such as drag-and-drop and clipboard sharing between macOS and Windows. The update also brings better compatibility and enhanced security for macOS Sonoma.
