READING NOW Diablo May Say Goodbye To PlayStation! Here’s the Behind the Scenes of the Sony-Microsoft Agreement…

In a news we shared with you the other day, we conveyed that there was an important development in the Call of Duty war between Sony and Microsoft. So much so that the two giant companies have reached an agreement that will allow the Call of Duty series to remain playable on PlayStation. With the agreement, Sony took a sigh of relief.

However, the latest news on the subject has led to debate whether Sony is playing the right horse. Because, according to the information obtained, the agreement between Sony and Microsoft consists only of Call of Duty games. Other games belonging to Activision may appear as Xbox exclusive games in the next stage. Let’s take a closer look at the behind the scenes of the Sony-Microsoft deal together.

Sony just rejected all other games from Activision for Call of Duty!

According to the information received, Microsoft offered to keep all the games belonging to the developer team on PlayStation until 2027 in the agreement it wanted to make with Sony. However, Sony wanted the Call of Duty series to stay on PlayStation for 10 years instead.

That was the deal the two made. In other words, the future of all other games belonging to Activision and included in the PlayStation ecosystem is now between Microsoft’s lips. Microsoft can make other games Xbox exclusive if they want to. Let’s say that this also applies to games that have been released so far.

Overwatch, Diablo, and World of Warcraft may say goodbye to PlayStation!

Diablo is one of the most popular game series in the PlayStation ecosystem. On the other hand; World of Warcraft is just as popular as Diablo. If Microsoft turns a blind eye, the games that will be removed from PlayStation and only for PC and Xbox are as follows:

The most popular Activision Blizzard games:

  • Crash Bandicoot
  • Tony Hawk’s
  • Diablo
  • hearthstone
  • overwatch
  • Warcraft
  • Guitar Hero
  • skylanders
  • Spyro the Dragon
  • Heroes of the Storm
  • StarCraft

Let’s make it clear: There was no statement from the Microsoft or Sony front about the games we just mentioned. So for now, these games will continue to exist in the PlayStation ecosystem. However, if a new decision comes from Microsoft on the subject, Sony will not be able to claim rights this time. Insisting on Call of Duty, Sony seems to suffer financial damage this time due to other games.
