Electric and autonomous vehicles have become popular in recent years. Considering the damage caused by LPG, diesel and gasoline vehicles to nature and climate, countries take various decisions in this regard. Automotive companies are also making commitments to electrify their vehicles and put an end to other forms of fuel. Companies producing electric vehicles are also working on autonomous vehicles.
Although autonomous vehicles have certain important practices and benefits, they also have some problems due to their digital nature. Being the leading company in this field, Tesla’s autonomous vehicles come to the fore with certain complaints from time to time. But this time it came up with an interesting problem that seemed unusual. Due to the interruption in Tesla’s application, the vehicles remained locked. Users were unable to use their vehicles for a period of time.
Elon Musk has apologized
DownDetector, the outage monitoring site, announced that about 500 users reported an error in the Tesla application at around 4:40 p.m. last Friday. More than 60 bug reports came in 5 hours after the incident. Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to a driver’s complaint on Twitter, “Checking” from his personal account.
Stating that the application will be online again after a while, Musk said, “We are sorry, we will take measures to prevent this from happening again.” With the Tesla application, it provides remote control of many different functions, including the vehicle’s locks and starting.
