Apple, which has completely abandoned Intel processors by introducing the Mac Pro at the WWDC 2023 event held in the past weeks, continues to work on new Mac models. According to a reliable source, the Cupertino-based firm is preparing an iMac Pro for next year.

iMac Pro with M3 Pro processor on the way

Mark Gurman, known for his sources close to Apple, talked about Apple’s plans for the coming years in a Bloomberg column. According to Gurman, Apple will not update the iMac family with the M2 processor and will introduce iMac models with the M3 processor directly next year. In addition, Gurman also stated that the company is working on an iMac Pro model with a 30-inch screen size.

The iMac Pro, which will have a huge screen size and high volume, will probably have a successful cooling system, which will allow Apple to bring high-end processors to the device. Although the details are not clear, Apple is expected to offer M3 Pro and M3 Max options for this iMac Pro model. The M3 Pro, which is expected to be introduced next year, will likely offer a 12-core processor, 18-core graphics unit and 36GB of RAM. Although the screen to be used on the device is unknown, the panel is expected to be IPS and ProMotion.
