Call of Duty predicted Russia events
You can expect the Simpsons to predict the Russia event, as it predicted the Titan submarine diving to study the Titanic. This time, however, the events in Russia were portrayed exactly 16 years ago by Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which was released in 2007. In one part of the play, the civil war that broke out in Russia was mentioned as follows:
Gaz: “Good news first: the world is in great shape. There is a civil war in Russia, pro-government rebels against ultranationalist rebels, and 15,000 nuclear bombs at stake.”
Price: “Another day at the office.”
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was developed by Infinity Ward and released in November 2007 under the umbrella of Activision. One of the most popular games of the series, CoD4: MW, unlike the previous games, II. It was taken from the era of World War II and brought to modern times. The story of the game takes place in a fictional near future. The play revolves around 2011, when a radical leader executed the president of an unnamed country in the Middle East and an ultranationalist movement sparked a civil war in Russia. We can say that the game features the Ultranationalist Party instead of Wagner, and Imran Zakhaev instead of Yevgeny Prigozhin.
