While the electric car industry continues to grow day by day, we often see new models from electric car initiatives. EdisonFuture, a subsidiary of China-based SPI Energy, also joined these initiatives. Announcing its first electric vehicles in October, EdisonFuture showcased these cars at the auto show in Los Angeles.

The US-based startup introduced a pickup truck named EF1-T and a van named EF-1V. Of course, the first striking aspects of the vehicles were both their interior and exterior designs. EdisonFuture seems to have designed both vehicles to bear traces of Tesla Cybertruck and Ford F-150 Lightning. Let’s take a closer look at these tools.

EdisonFuture EF1-T, literally Cybertruck F-150:

Although EdisonFuture EFT-T1 does not have as angular lines as Cybertruck, it is very similar to Cybertruck with its size and front panel structure. Having a solid body appearance just like Cybertruck, the EF1-T resembles the Ford F-150 with its headlight design and front panel. When we get inside the vehicle, we see that the minimal design of electric cars has moved away from it. The most striking part of the interior is that there are seats for three people in the front of the vehicle.

The vehicle, which has mirrors with cameras, hosts a total of 4 screens, including the two screens of these mirrors. In addition, there is a transparent hologram screen at eye level of the driver. While there are physical window buttons and various buttons on the door handles of the vehicle, we cannot see any features at the back.

Not all technical features of the EFT-T1 have been shared. However, according to the information on the website, the vehicle will come in three packages. These packages will have a range of 480 kilometers, 600 kilometers and 720 kilometers, and the time from 0 to 100 will be 6.5 seconds, 4.5 seconds and 3.9 seconds, respectively. The biggest feature of the vehicle is that it can cover the top of the case behind it with solar panels.

EdisonFuture EF1-V

The EF1-V hosts the same chassis and platform as the pickup truck model EF1-T. The interior of the vehicle, which has three seats, also has the same features as the EF1-T. But when we look at the back, a very large storage area welcomes us. The vehicle will be launched in two models that can go from 0 to 100 in 6.5 seconds, the difference between them will be the payload capacity and the range that has not been announced yet.

The company has not yet announced when the vehicles will debut.
