WhatsApp, the world’s most popular messaging platform, wants to offer better experiences to its users in the innovations it works on. In this context, Meta is testing another new feature. According to the detail revealed by Wabetainfo, the platform makes it even easier to reach users.
WhatsApp tests in-app chat support feature
WhatsApp users can contact using their e-mail addresses when they have a problem with the platform. The company introduced a new feature for an easier and shorter way. According to the program offered as in-app chat support, users will now be able to ask for help on the platform as if they were chatting.
WhatsApp in-app chat support is currently being tested on Windows. Any user using the beta version of WhatsApp for Windows 2.2322.1.0 can take advantage of this feature. Those who want to use the feature can click on the “Contact Us” option on the platform.
The only innovation in the beta version of WhatsApp for Windows 2.2322.1.0 is not limited to this. The platform brings screen sharing feature to video calls. This feature, which was previously tested on Android, will finally be available on Windows. With this feature, you will be able to open your desktop screen to other speakers in video chats.
Beta users will now see a screen sharing option in their video call controls. In this area, you will be able to share either a specific window or the entire desktop to the participants in the video call. Users who are on mobile devices during the call will also be able to see screen sharing.
